If you have read Tracy Kidder’s Mountains Beyond Mountains, you are already familiar with Dr. Paul Farmer and the work he and PIH have done and are doing in Haiti.

Because Partners in Health is already an active presence in Haiti and has established hospitals and clinics that are already set up, I believe any donations sent to this organization will be used wisely and to great benefit. They are currently organizing medical teams through both their Boston and Haiti offices.
