I am Natasha, a/k/a Nancy Drew Too. Six years ago A, a/k/a Boris, and I traded our snow shovels for beach chairs and have never regretted changing latitudes. Or changing attitudes. Even though we’ve moved into the hurricane belt, it’s worth it to live in the sun.
Here Polly, my rescue ranger Walker hound, and I contemplate the beach, looking left as we are wont to do. A/Boris, tech support and partner extraordinaire, holds the camera. Lola Cat sits at home, waiting to boss us all around when we return. Super Son rides, builds, and sells bicycles back in snow shovel country.
That’s my little family. I am lucky and grateful to know them all.
When I’m not writing, I can usually be found somewhere near the water if it’s warm and sunny. Or singing. Or tossing garlic or chocolate as appropriate into a vat of Other Stuff and stirring until something edible emerges.

I am writing a novel, tentatively called Tap Dancing at the County Fair. It’s a coming-of-middle-age story about a mild-mannered librarian who discovers that she’s really Robin Hood. Who knew? And, yeah, there’s a love story in there, too. Because there always is, or should be.
