They are redwood trees -- and my story takes place somewhere in the Carolinas, which does not have redwoods. But I figured for a Flash Fiction it would be okay. I wanted a trees-from-the-flat-of-your-back-perspective, and this was what I was able to find in the 36.7 seconds I'd allocated to the task. But details, details, details -- they are really important. Good eye! They are redwood trees — and my story takes place somewhere in the Carolinas, which does not have redwoods.
